Biography: Diana Farfán, a Colombian-born ceramic sculptor based in Greenville, SC, is an artist, educator, and cultural agent. With a B.A. in Graphic Design, a B.F.A. in Ceramic and Printmaking from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, and an M.F.A. in Ceramic Sculpture from the University of South Carolina, Diana has honed her skills internationally, including at the University of Anchorage and Tainan National University of the Arts. As a leader in mentoring young Latino artists and promoting Latino art and cultures, Diana also advocates for animal welfare and environmental conservation. She founded Agent HEArt, an initiative focused on humane education through the arts.
