Mid range porcelain, clear glaze, gold luster, night light cord/ wheel thrown and hand carved, electric fired to cone 6 SRW1 Born in Asheville, North Carolina, Rebecca holds a great appreciation for craft traditions. She fell in love with wheel throwing in 2013 and in 2021 graduated from the University of North Carolina at Asheville with a BFA degree. There, Rebecca began to discover and explore connections between her love of dance, ceramics, and historical art movements. In summer of 2021, Rebecca moved to Saint Petersburg, FL, where she completed a two year residency at the Morean Center for Clay, teaching classes and exhibiting work including two solo exhibitions. Rebecca has participated in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions, including invitational shows.
