Soda fired stoneware, impressed slab construction, cone 10. STR1 Born and raised in Northwest Ohio on the family farm, TR’s interests centered around nature and all things mechanical. After graduating from The University of Findlay, Findlay, OH, with degrees in Biology and Art, TR, along with his wife Judy, established The Old Jalopy Pottery. Since 2016, TR has been the ceramics professor at Bluffton University, Bluffton, OH. TR has shown and sold his work at many exhibitions, art fairs, shops, and galleries, and conducts the annual Summer Mud Workshop at Bluffton University. TR and Judy live in Bluffton and have two grown children, their greatest accomplishments.
