SOLD. Iron-bearing stoneware, woodfired and reduction cooled, found wooden handle. SJB3 Jonathan has been studying pottery since 2009 and teaware more specifically since 2016. He earned an MFA in Craft from Oregon College of Art and Craft in Portland, OR where he explored clay in depth as a material for use and expression. Jonathan went on to be Resident Artist at Pleasant Hill Pottery in the Willamette Valley where he developed an expertise with the Anagama kiln there. He has taught intermittently in colleges and community studios in the region since then and currently makes his home and personal studio in Seattle, WA
