White clay, wheel thrown with stained attached elements, carved and inlayed with black slip, fired to cone 6. MCT2 Colin began working with ceramics while attending Oregon State University in 2015, pursuing an undergraduate degree in Construction Engineering Management. During this time, he worked as a ceramic technician at the University's studio. After graduating in 2019, he started working as a project engineer for a general contractor and has continued to work with clay at community studios in Oregon, Washington, and Colorado. He currently resides and works out of a home studio in Portland, Oregon and will be transitioning back to school next fall to study ceramics.
