SOLD. Pinched and coiled cone 6 stoneware, incised lines with slip inlay, glaze. Nina Berinstein is an American-Argentinian artist and educator based in New York City. After completing her undergraduate studies in art education and ceramics at Bennington College, Nina continued her studio art studies in Buenos Aires and Barcelona. Integral to her artistic practice is her teaching practice. Nina is currently a teaching artist with Studio in a School, serving NYC elementary and middle school students, and is pursuing a masters in art education at City College. She continues to produce and exhibit her own work as a member of Clay Space, a community ceramics studio in Brooklyn, NY. She has exhibited pieces in the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Pomona, California, as well as a variety of juried shows, including CraftBoston.
