Ceramic/ cone 10 Soda Fired/ Teapot with Pedestal Anil Asakawa is a Graduate student attending Montana State University. He received his BFA from the University of North Texas. Anil was born and raised in Odessa, Texas where he learned ceramics from his father at the local community college. Throughout high school, he participated in annual Empty Bowls events and worked in an assistant position at the local art museum. After entering college, he worked as an artist assistant to multiple artist in residence.
