Artist's Bio
Sam Momeyer is a functional potter born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating with a BFA in ceramics, working as a studio technician at Touchstone Center for Crafts, and completing a residency at Baltimore Clayworks, Sam moved west to study as a post-bac student at the University of Alaska Anchorage. In 2018 they moved to Helena, Montana to apprentice with Tara Wilson, where they still live and work as a resident artist at Studio 740 with their partner Shelsea Dodd.
