Come dance around your planters with Sam Wallace in this 10-week exploration of commercial clays.  Participants will gain insight into traditional folk-art hand-building techniques employed by Sam for building his large-scale planters. Combining molded slab, soft- slab building plus “pineapple” style wad-and-dob construction students will create a variety of planter forms for indoor and outdoor patio use.  This is a wonderful cultural opportunity to learn a unique method of working in clay while embellishing your home and garden. Course fee includes 25 lbs. of clay and bisque firing, glaze firing fees are additional. Class size will remain at reduced capacity for increased social distancing, masks indoors remain mandatory. Proof of vaccination required prior to 1^st class.
